Poundbakery opens in Runcorn

Hundreds flocked to Church Street, Runcorn for the launch of the new Poundbakery store conversion. The Mayor of Halton, Councillor Shaun Osborne was in attendance for the grand opening.  

Poundbakery store manager, Michelle Mullan comments "Our first day was a roaring success. The people of Runcorn raved about the quality and the price, and these prices are here to stay.

“People have been queuing up for tasty treats since we opened and some of the cakes and baguettes proved so popular that they sold out!"

Runcorn is the second Poundbakery to open in the Runcorn and Widnes area.
