New Poundbakery Store Opens in West Bromwich

Over 2,000 people flocked to High Street, West Bromwich for the launch of the first ever Poundbakery store in the Midlands.

The Mayor of Sandwell, Cllr Derek Rowley joined the team to officially launch the shop, commenting: 

"In Sandwell we have always welcomed new businesses and Poundbakery will really benefit the area, providing sustainable jobs for local people."

Poundbakery store manager, Kevin Smith added: "“People have been queuing out of the door since we opened, and some of the cakes and baguettes proved so popular that they sold out!"
