Poundbakery opens in Chelmsley Wood Shopping Centre, Solihull

We are delighted to welcome our new Chelmsley Wood shop team to our fast growing and exciting business with 12 new jobs.

 The Mayor of Solihull, Councillor Glenis Slater and her Consort, Mr Clive Slater met with our famous Mr Tasty, to officially open the shop in Chelmsley Wood Shopping centre.

 Our new shop manager, Tracy Davies, comments: “All of the staff are new to the Poundbakery family so it’s been a lot to take in – except the price, everything’s £1!”

“We were expecting it to be busy from the start and have been blown away by the response so far.”

 Where else can you find two freshly baked Steak Slices, two fresh cream Strawberry Tarts or Bacon Rolls for just £1?  Our sandwiches are freshly prepared daily in-store and our cream cakes are made fresh every morning in our own bakery. Food on the go never needs to be expensive again.

 Chelmsley Wood marks the sixth Poundbakery to be opened in the Midlands, as part of our major expansion plan.
